En 1997, un objet littéraire non identifié en provenance des États-Unis nous percutait de plein fouet : The Ethical Slut de Dossie Easton et Janet W Hardy, autrement dit La Salope éthique…Mais quelle était donc cette créature singulière, cette salope autoproclamée et de plus douée d’un sens éthique ? Dans certains cercles avertis l’ouvrage eut un retentissement considérable. Très rapidement il devint la bible de celles et ceux à qui la perspective de la monogamie-jusqu’à-ce-que-la-mort-nous-sépare semblait un tout petit peu terne.
Ainsi La Salope Éthique revendiquait le droit de sortir des sentiers battus. Héritière du libertinage et de l’amour libre, elle faisait l’apologie du "polyamour"…sans pour autant invalider la monogamie choisie après mûres réflexions. "Polyamour ?" Vous voulez dire "polygamie ?" Pas exactement. Pour expliquer le polyamour il suffit de prendre en compte les postulats inébranlables sur lesquels il repose : consentement et consensualité, introspection lucide, limites personnelles claires et précises, respect de ces limites ainsi que de celles d’autrui, communication honnête, désir de garantir le bien-être de l’ensemble des partenaires… et puis fidélité.
Eh oui, de même que le concept de "salope abstinente" n’est, comme vous le découvrirez dans cet ouvrage, pas un oxymore, la fidélité fait bel et bien partie intégrante des relations multiples. Car fidélité signifie avant tout respect des engagements pris ! Déconstruisant allègrement les mythes et les fondements de l’Occident en matière d’amours et de sexualités, Dossie Easton et Janet W. Holy Wrath: Among Criminal Muslims by Nicolai Sennels In 2008, the psychologist Nicolai Sennels was dismissed from his job at the juvenile facility Sønderbro in Copenhagen. During the years he worked there, he had made unique and startling discoveries while treating the inmates, mostly young Muslim men convicted of various crimes. However, it was not primarily the scientific observations Sennels had made that cost him his job – it was the fact that his findings did not comply with the "core values" of the Copenhagen Municipality. Attempts were made to gag Sennels, but luckily did not succeed. Thanks to a severance pay, he was able to devote his time to writing down his experiences, and the result is this book: Among Criminal Muslims. Holy Wrath – Among Criminal Muslims, is an in-depth look at life behind the walls of the juvenile prison where Sennels worked for nearly three years. His story offers a singular opportunity to catch a glimpse of what goes on behind locked doors, and the book provides new insights into what criminal — and sometimes radicalized — young immigrants really say in the confines of the therapy room. In his three years at Sønderbro, Sennels treated hundreds of young criminals in therapy. The book is based on these conversations, but also includes references to statistics gathered in research and surveys. The conclusions are not altogether pleasant, and some will no doubt find them offensive. But they are well-founded.
